Hi my name is diane and have just came out of hospital having had lithotripsy has anyone else had it done!!?

Question:

for people out there that dont know what lithotripsy is it is treatment for kidney stones i have been in and out of hospital since jan 06 with constant pain in my left kidney they found a small stone i went down for lithotripsy treatment on my kidney it was amazing just like mini electric shock waves blasting the kidney stone i found it didnt hurt but a funny sensation i only had it a few days ago and just want to know if anyone else has had it done and how long it took you to feel better or if it didnt work .i feel a lot better then i did but still in a bit of pain and still on the pain killers what did you find that helped you and how many weeks or months if worked did you feel you could be back to a normal routine look forward to hearing from you diane!!

you lucky girl you. I had to have surgery twice to remove stones form both kidneys and lasertripsy 4 times to blast the same . never had the lithotrispy wish I woulc have never had a stone inthe kidney always managed to shake them loose intothe ureters where they cant do it with litho. have to cut or laser. took me a whil eot get over the general anasthesia, but not long to get over it altogehter.
