Tennis elbow is an overuse of the wrist extensor muscles that causes inflammation around the lateral side of the elbow. I would suggest ice. There are also straps that you could use that are similar to those used for patellar tendons that will also help relieve the pain.
A condition where the outer part of the elbow becomes painful and tender, usually as a result of a specific strain or overuse. Rest, ice and compression are the treatments of choice.
