Having a glass of wine at night (ONE GLASS) is considered to be good for your health. Alcohol in large portions can be very detrimental to your health. It strips your body of electrolytes and causes severe damage to your liver. It makes your skin leathery and when your older, it can cause redness in your skin and broken veins around your nose. This is not including the dumb things that you can do to yourself while intoxicated.
Alcohol has both good and bad effects.
Some drinks containing alcohol have benefits from other components.
Alcohol is a toxin and if you drink more than one unit a day you risk harming yourself. One unit a day is a paltry amount, very few people drink like this.

Drinking alcohol causes loss to a person economically,in social value and in health.It causes severe impact on Liver and Person become addict of alcohol as more of it is taken.So health of drinker become more and more worse.Alcohol drinking in large amount may cause drinker to loose control on mind for some time putting bad effect on health. alcohol is good for health only in limited quantity,,it prevents coronary artery disease. the percentage of alcohol should be less.in small quantity it improves cholestrol levels,activate liver, less calories,.but regular use of ethanol causes,,ulcers, liver failure, jaundice, hepatitis,,cirrhosis of liver and addiction is the one we should be CAREFULL from..people wth addiction go into hepato-renal(kidney,liver) failure and death. social drinking is permitted. but people wth already having liver disease shld be restricted frm drinks.
