Why do my hands and feet swell when I have an alcoholic beverage?

Question: I just drank a beer and noticed that my hands and feet are now swollen a bit. The same thing happened the other day when I drank a glass of wine. I don't drink that much or that often. Maybe a drink every two weeks or less.

The same thing happened to my little brother. It turned out ( too late ) to be his liver. I'd get checked out if I was you. do not drink any more
