Test results?

Question:
When you have a blood test and you await the results; when the surgery writes in to tell you your results are ready and that you should come in, does this mean there is something wrong? Surely they wont ask you to come in if there is nothing wrong with you or is it standard procedure to call you in regardless of result?

Answers:
It's procedure - they'll tell you white cell count, platelet count, etc. It doesn't mean anything wrong with you, they just want to share your results.
They all work differently. Ive had some places with a 'no news is good news' policy and others that ask you to come collect regardless.
