Sometimes it can only take a day but usually it is like a cold sore that you might get on your lip....ya know how you get that feeling of sourness for about 3 to 4 days in advance, that tingling feeling.....it is different for guys 85% of men are carriers and wont have any symptoms for a long time if at all most of the time they don't know that they have it till they give it to someone. Now for girls ......its harder to tell cuz' sometimes you cant see them or feel them you will get cramping and flu like symptoms. There really isn't any kind of test you can do to see if you have it you just have to wait till you have an outbreak.
