There are many anti-inflammatories, generally categorised by the part of the body they are meant for.
Joints: Harpagophytum procumbens (devils claw)
Intestinal tract: Matricaria recutita (chamomile)
Muscles: Cramp bark (Viburnum opulus)

Glucosamine. Used by lots of people who have inflamed joints - available widely - probably in Boots and other highstreet chemists. My mum uses it when her hands are bad with arthritis and says it does help.
