what will be the result if hydrochloric acid and nitric acid were combined?

Question:

Answers:
Usually mixed in a ratio 1:3 and must be utilized soon after mixing because it is a volatile mixture that quickly dissipates. Aqua regia (royal water) is used to dissolve the so called noble metals, it's good that the kings of the old days didn't use tantalum and iridium in copious amounts. But other than that it dissolves the royal metals and probably most any other thing including you and me and whoever else.

Other Answers:
Nothing. 2 acid add up together doesnt do anything
Acids combing don't do anything....

Try adding a base to it. A base will neutralize the acid and sometimes have a severe reaction.
Hydro chloric acid and Nitric acid mixed in a certain proportion become Aqua regia. It can dissolve any metal
It will form aquaregia in definite concentration and proportion
u should mix the two and see what happens......
nitric acid is like HNO3
hydrocloric acid is like HCl

it can't be a double replacement reaction because NO3 and Cl will not mix

probably you'll just have an aquaeous soultion of H+ ions, Cl- and NO3- ions
Nitrochloric acid: a compound that partially combines and is partially insoluble. It will have the dissolvability of HCI, with all the toxic fumes to go with, and the properties of nicric acid aswell. when applied to a substance it will affect it in the same way as if you had applied Nitric acid, then HCI.
Oh and it's not combustible, like Nitrous oxide.
Good luck.
