what does it mean if my tongue is black?
Question:
Answers:
The two are most likely unrelated but if you have been taking antacids or peptobismal type products they may be the cause of it. The condition you have is called black tongue and is not serious or dangerous. It's a cosmetic problem due to either too much kerotine production on the tongue or not sloughing enough off often due to poor hygene. You may want to read the article I listed below as a source. Sorry I don't know what it actually means - but it doesn't sound good!
With regards to your black tongue though - when one of my colleagues experienced the same thing she was advised by the doctor to eat pineapple to get rid of the blackness and this did work
well i dont know exacly what it means, but it doesnt sound healthy.. go to a doctor..
Did you eat Greek food? Olive leaves and anise will do that to you.
it means that you probably need to see a doctor....it could be that you have a blood flow problem and your tongue is dying or it could be nothing....but I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV..
You probably was doing drugs.
