what do i do about my 14 year old daughter heat allergies?

Question:
she is 14 years old and in the highschool marching band. this is her first year. she plays clarinet. she doesnt sweat like everyone else does. a little but not enough. there is a parade in town thursday afternoon and it will be 90+ degrees. when she was in grade school , she couldnt go out to recess if it was 80 degrees or above. she turns as white as a sheet, throws up, and sometimes passes out. she drinks water, but she still gets sick. she has been like this since she was two years old. i am just scared sick! she wants to do this so badly. what do i do to get her prepared for the parade? and what can she do during the parade, (they wont let her drink anything while performing)?

Answers:
she can wet herself with water before going to keep a little cool, and drink lots of water before going. and dress light clothes

Other Answers:
If your daughter has a documented special need then the school must by law accommodate her need for water. Be direct with both the band leader and the schools administration. If they try to deny her the right to drink water or exclude her due to her disability then get a lawyer. Not only does your daughter need to be allowed to drink water but any other reasonable accommodations must also be made. Such as a change in uniform or the provision of a shaded area for her to cool off when she needs to. You might also consider having an air conditioned car parked nearby for her to get into if she needs to cool down quickly.
Good Luck and don't let them bully you or your daughter you have rights here that are protected under the "Americans with disabilities act" it is a serious problem.but there has to be a solution.try a doctor or two or three.
