What do I do?

Question:
Hi, My BMI is within the normal range (21--22), BUT I've got love handles!!! Any suggestion for this? How do I get rid of the "extra meat"? What kind of exercises are good for me? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

p.s. Personal experiences are very welcome too.

Answers:
you may be in the normal BMI range, but to be in that range you don't have to be skinny without love handles. the normal bmi rate is anything that isn't considered overweight/obese or too skinny/ anorexic types of skinnyness.

I used to have some extra stuff in my stomach sicne I was a kid, short torso, really long legs. it's kind of odd. long skinny limbs and this short torso with a bit of stomach i must say lol. But as I grew and got taller it flattened out more. I also got much more hardcore in my dance and I now dance over 7 hours a week and I workout at home and do horseback riding. THese all also improve posture, a bad posture can make you look like you have a bigger butt and stomach (which i was a victim of as well :-P) some points of advice on crunches, which work well:

don't only do the simple one, do different types to work your outer abs

do them right, don't curl your neck and curve in your head or lift toward your stomach. you should keep you arms out and not let your elbows go in, lift your shoulder blades off the floor, and aim your chin to the ceiling in a straight, not curving line. (doing them wrong is much more stressful on your body and can possibly injure you, plus you're not getting much of a payoff either. as is the same with all other parts of a workout)

my dance teacher is really strict on positions and workout and such and it's made me stronger and thinner and a better dancer so maybe try to find a mroe hardcore workout that will make you better so you have more benefits to your workout

hope i helped :-)
fell off a tree, now need work
