Why do some people have sinus when they wake up even when they do not have any serious health condition?

Question:
Isn't it irritating waking up with a slight runny nose that last the whole morning and disappears in the afternoon?

Answers:
You may have allergies. Hayfever allergies are worse in the morning hours. It's because the pollen levels are highest then. I've had hayfever all my life and find the mornings are worse for me.
As for the runny nose disappearing, I wouldn't know about that. I've tried various allergy products and find sometimes nothing seems to help. My nose just keeps running.

Other Answers:
I would actually suggest you vacuum all the dust out of your bedroom, then get an little air purifier for the room.
Its because your Matress is full of Dust mites, How long have you had your mattress? If its really old then you probably have an accumulation of Dead skin cells in it which dust mites feed of of..when you sleep you are breathing them in and out and it causes mucus to build up.
Because your sinus cavities is there when you wake up. Now having sinus problems is a different question.
And yes, that is irritating.. but it's even more irritating when it doesn't go away.
Everybody has sinus, I mean normal people
Sometimes it's a question of dust, etc. Other times it could be humidity changes.
could be dust mites

or, lay off the blow
To make a long explanation short, for one reason or another (more likely the position of your head) your sinuses do not drain correctly in your sleep.
Food allergies are the most common cause. Wheat, Dairy, Corn and Soy are the four big allergens which are falsely promoted as being wholesome and healthy. This is the farthest thing from the truth. I know, I was just as suprised but the evidence is there. Go to websites like www.dogtorj.net to find out the mind-blowing details. The food industry is very very powerful in America.
Allergy from dust, smoke, pollution causes this condition.

It may not be sinus but esnophylia, which too has similar symptoms.

Avoid cotton/wool/stuffed pillows. See the difference overnight.

All the best.
cause thats who they are
dust
all people have sinuses, maybe what you are saying is an inflammation of the sinus which is sinusitis, right? this may be due to an allergic reaction with some allergens such as dusts, molds or even food.
I have had this "toxic snot" thing going on and it irritates the hell out of me. I had started to wonder about the mattress, dust and a few other things, but in addition, I was wondering what the neighbors had put on their lawns as fertilizer or what not. I sleep with the window open and at night is when this toxicity is regenerated. And last, but not least, I have my conspiracy theories.
Most people breath through their mouths at night and not their nose. The lack of air passing through your nose at night can cause this to happen
try to sleep outside , on the balcony.or with windows wide open. IT REALLY HELPS!Good luck!
