Should I buy a stethoscope?

Question:
I have a child with cystic fibrosis. Do you think there is any point in me buying a stethoscope? Would I be able to detect any problems or do you need to be a nurse to really know how to use it?

Answers:
I do not think a stethoscope would benefit you.
I would recommend a peak flow meter and the doctor can tell you how high your child should be able to blow the meter. Your child's pulmonary doctor can get you one and teach you how to use it.

I don't think that would help you much, once diagnosed it wouldn't help the nurse or doctor much either. See website below for some good info.
