Can you reduce the chance of illness by travelling at the front of the tube train?

Question:
If you sit at the end all the air and germs from the other passengers is blown down the train

Answers:
Anywhere full of people in a small confined space carries a risk of passing germs etc. I should know, I caught a virus leading to encephalitis on a tube. Granted I was in a middle carriage but I doubt it matters.

Other Answers:
I think all of the cars have their own ventilation, so it wouldn't really matter where you sit. Just buy a mask if you're worried about germs.

Most definitely you can reduce your chances of illness if sitting at the front when there's a head-on collision and you die. Can't get sick if you're dead.

Since cars are sealed compartments, it doesn't matter where you sit. The air is circulating within the car.
