Eyes burn when i touch/close/apply eye drops! why?!?!?

Question:
i wear contact; i ran outa contact cleaner; used regular eye drops instead; BAD IDEA; put on contacts next morning; after sitting in eye drop formula overnight just like it would witht he contact cleaner; my eyes started to water and burn; so i took them out; still a little burning but no problem; left them in eye drop; never got around to buy more contect cleaner; 2 days later i tired to put them on agian but left them over nigh in tpa water; think if u can rinse ur eyes out with the stuff why not used them for contacts; when i put them in besides beging rlly dry and having to blink to get moister it was ok; 5 min later intense burning; took out; now i got cleaner from a friend bought my own; rinsed contact with cleaner put them in lasted about 2 hours before started to burn. but now the burn will nto go away; when i put eyes drops in burn when i close my eyes they burn but fade away slowly; i rinse them out felt good for 5 min now back to normal burning; ANY SUGGESTIONS?!?!?!?

That pair of contacts are shot. Hopefully they aren't toric or RGB's...

Don't use anything but contact lens solution to clean your contacts. And stick with the same brand of solution once you find one that works best for you. I could go into detail about non-complient patients that I've seen who wore contacts too long or didn't clean them, but it'd only serve as a scare tactic. Just trust me when I say that you need to be responsible with your contact lenses and how you wear them, or you could cause real damage to your eyes. It's not as hard as you'd think.
go see an eye doctor.
