What is a good diet for a thirteen year old?
Question:
Answers:
Your weight sounds good for your age (depending on your height), and if you're a soccer player then you're already reasonably fit.
So I don't think you need to be worrying about losing weight! Remember that you're still growing (and will do for the next 5-10 years).
Your diet just needs to be balanced: pizza once or twice a week is fine (it is the best food known to man, after all!), plenty of vegetables, fruit, fish and easy on the meat. Soda only with your pizza, and sorry - no beer...
30 minutes of exercise a day (brisk walking, running, swimming, jogging, aerobics or whatever) is plenty, if you're already training. You're probably fitter than most people your age!
Other Answers:
excersise and more excersise, no more pizza and icecream
Considering the age, you really should see your doctor before starting a diet and exercise program.
Lots of basic pizza and diet beer (lo-cal). Works everytime!!
Try to exercise for 1 hour every day...that's what I do, I'm 13 too. I bike 5 miles, run 1/2 a mile, do crunches, sit-ups, and push-ups, and I row for 4 minutes... then again, I'm 84 lbs and 4'8"...Try not to eat too many fatty foods like ice cream, pizza, chips and so on... Good luck!
EAT STEAM FOOD
they don't have sugar or oil
most diet food are tasteless so it might be hard.
but for one thing, you have to get to be healthy
Well, to start with you are about five years too young to be thinking about any of this. But if you insist on thinking about it, here is my opinion.....
Dieting actually makes people fatter because it messes up the body's natural processes.
Think about it.
How many diets are there out there? How many decades have the dieting industry been pushing them? If any of them actually worked then there would not be hundreds of them. How can you "go on a diet" diet temporarily (say three months) then go back to eating "normally"? You will just put on the weight again. The more often you "diet" the sooner you will give up whichever one you are on.
The best thing to do is eat healthily. This means eat more fresh (or good quality frozen) fruit and vegetables and less refined cr*p like sweets (candy) and white bread and cakes and stuff. Beans of all sorts are good. Eat a proper breakfast and regular healthy snacks throughout the day like an apple or something.
And if you exercise then do some more walking (somewhere safe obviously) and swimming. Or other stuff you enjoy so it is not a chore.
You don't say how tall you are - you could be the right shape anyway.
I'm thirty five and I've never been overweight. If I feel like I'm getting a bit fat I just eat less ice-cream and stuff and walk a bit more.
The worst thing you can do is start worrying about your weight and go on weird diets, it really is.
Also avoid making friends with people who talk about diets all the time - they will only drag you down, some of them are very competitive about something that is basically pretty boring when you think about it. They may want to make the size of their backside a major issue in their life but it doesn't mean everyone else has to.
And regarding weight - numbers are pretty meaningless anyway as muscle weighs more than fat but looks thinner.
Good luck.
