If you are having pain only when you cough, you can probably wait a day or so to see if it will ease on it's own. In this instance, it may just be a pulled muscle from coughing. If the pain is intense and/or becomes constant, I would recommend you go to the ER. Your gallbladder may be infected or have a blocked bile duct. Or, it could be a liver issue or even your appendix. Check your temperature. If you are running a fever, go to the ER.
