squeezing in head...?

for the last few days I have had a strange symptom in my head. I feel a squeezing, tight sensation in the back of my head that progresses to the top. its kind of like the numb feeling u get in your foot when it falls asleep. It is very uncomfortable but it doesn't really hurt. its almost like someone is squeezing ur brain. this symptom comes and goes but is occuring more and more lately. I also have a numb feeling behind my ears that feels like they popped but didn't. I do have hypoglycemia but have never had this symptom before with it. I have had the same feeling in my arm but now its in my head. I am also not able to remember things like I used to. It takes me longer to remember small things like my phone number. I do get frequent headaches more than I used to but this squeezing is not a headache. I am not crazy in any way but I think this is a fairly odd symptom. does anyone know what this could be? by the way- I am only 17.

If you press firmly at the base of the skull you will find the reason for the pulling or squeezing sensation.. the ear sensation suggests an inflammatory process involving the auricular nerve. stemming from the same place as the previously mentioned area. The headaches are part of the entire problem.. all stemming from the base of the skull..You are either aware of a postural problem or one developing.. There is a sub-acute situation to involve some of the cranial nerves.. if left untreated it will progress to acute/chronic stage. At your age you should respond rapidly but have to become more aware of postural discrepancy. Note which way your head tends to want to lean and you will begin to get an idea of what I am referring to.
