Help here!?

Question:
Alright. this all started one day at my friends house. we were doing tag-team racing with his go-karts. i didn't have enough time to put my seat belt on. so i didnt put my seat belt on. i got to the finish line. i pressed the brake and (for some reason) my car spun out of control and i flipped out of the go kart and got a cut on my knee. I didn't put a bandaid on it and it hurts so much. what should i do with it?

Answers:
A bandaid wouldn't have helped all that much. Iodine or some other antibaterial cream would have been good.

How long ago did this happen? If it was a couple of days ago, you can still try some medicated cream.

If the area is all puffy, oozing, purplish or green, you might have a serious infection.
Go to the doctor. You may need antibiotics.

Other Answers:
Wash it out with alcohol and Listerine. Then apply anti-bacterial ointment.
Your wound might be infected so, go to the doctor to see your wound.
go to the emergency room or your famil doctor. They can tell you what to do.

At my job I get cuts and scrapes every day.
go to your doctors u might have sprain something or broke something in it. If it is just bruised then u might want to put ice packs on it and make sure the swelling goes down!
Clean it with soap and water and then put a band-aid on it..then put a cold pack on it if it still hurts
Clean it , put some peroxide on it, and tr not to wear long pants so that the air will keep it dry.
Simple answer: Go to your doctor and have him/her check it. That's one of the reasons they are there. Ask all your questions and get the answers. Pay the bill. Next time you will know what to do and why.
Clean out the infection! You probably got some germs in the cut cause you didn't clean it and cover it so that germs can not reach the cut and infect it.
