Is this really true about Sun Screen??

Question:
Being so fair, i use sun screen all the time, and some person had told me that anything above SPF 45 doesn't really work any better then SPF 45. I just wanted to know if this was true!! Thanks for your answers!

Answers:
I've heard the same thing. I can't remember who or where I found this out, but the main thing you should do while in the sun, is repeat the application of sunscreen VERY often, and even if the sunscreen says "waterproof" always re-apply the sunscreen. I didn't use it when I was exposed to the sun during my youth, and I'm paying for it now. I have tons of brown blotches on my skin, and on my chest. I alway wore makeup, so that helped my face. Just re-apply OFTEN and you'll be okay. Also, you should wear sunglasses to protect your eyes.. The suns rays are much worse then when I was younger. Good Luck!! I hear one can get a spray on tan with sunscreen, if you're out in the sun. deltadawn1769@sbcglobal.net Also wear hats, ones with brims not baseball caps, they don't protect your ears or face. Also some cosmetics now contain sunscreens, but WebMD suggests putting on sunscreen under cosmetics just to make sure.
does it make a difference then? i say just stick with what works.
