how can I remove soap obstruction from ear canal?
Question:
Answers:
the same way you can get impated earwax out. use peroxide at 50 percent with water. i use it full strength. use a syringe bulb or tomy syringe and gentle squeeze warm water into the ear after the peroxide treatment to flush out wax and anything that is left in the ear.
Other Answers:
Try peroxide. If that doesn't work, you may have to see a doctor to get it cleaned out if it is too compacted.
i would make an appointment to have your physician remove it. putting any type of liquid or foreign object into the ear can damage the ear canal and cause infection.
the ear canal itself is only two inches in length and its only protected by the cartilage surrounding it (the part of your ear that is outside the body that you can see). it is also a very warm environment and if you add liquid to it-it becomes the perfect breeding ground for germs-they thrive in warm, moist places and can cause ear infections.
the doctor should be able to safely remove the obstruction in less than five minutes and can also check to make sure you don't already have an infection brewing from the soap being lodged in the ear canal.
