What would the effects of vinegar be on a stomach ulcer?

vinegar is a strong acid, if im not mistaken.
It would make the ulcer much, much worse... the stomach is already acidic enough without more so, and the increased acidity would negatively affect the ulcer (which is basically an open wound).
