I have insurance and when i get my neck cracked..the ins. company sends me checks...do i cash them.?

The doctor calls me to ask me if the checks came, and also calls my insurance co. is this legal. what happens if i cash the checks?

sounds like you have blue cross blue sheild. You are suppossed to give those checks to your doctor. IF you don't, you will be liable for the medical bills that they were for. Remember, when you cash them... you sign them and they are traceable. Just give them to your doctor... and forget that you had them.

do you have to pay the doctor. The checks are ment to remburse you for the doctor bill as it is covered by your insurrance so yes you can cash them.
