What is a stage one and stage two trama?PLEASE HELP!!!?

Question:
Help me no one was able to answer this for 2 days now.

Answers:
the levels are used to classify how badly you are injured.

i work in trauma icu and about 95% of my patients are level one traumas.

level one trauma patients are patients that have severe head injuries and require the need for a neurosurgeon to be assigned to their care for the possibility of brain surgery. these are usually patients that have been involved in severe car accidents, gunshot wounds, really bad assaults, or have fallen several feet from buidlings, ladders, etc.

a level two trauma patient requires the need for everything the stage one patient needs EXCEPT for the neurosurgeon. this means that their injuries were not sustained to their head, their head/brain has been examined via ct scan and xray and has been cleared on any severe injury requiring the neurosurgeons care....

all trauma patients require the care of a trauma surgeon-who is usually present in the trauma room which is part of the emergency room when the patient comes in-what classifies a patient being called a "trauma patient" instead of just a regular patient is the need for this kind of doctor b/c usually these patients require emergency surgery to find out what injuries they have or to repair damage that has been done to major organs.

i hope i have answered your question....
when u are in the emergency room of a trauma hospital they categorize trauma patients into a stage one two or three and the attention u will get and who will attend to u will depend on this....classification
