How to stop a cold from developing?

Question: Hi, I'm just coming down with a cold. I'm going to a party tomorrow. How can prevent it from becoming a full-blown cold, at least I don't want to have to blow my nose every minute. Please, help. Thanks

Unfortunately, if you go to the party even if you're not blowing your nose you'll be spreading germs and infecting your friends. Get plenty of rest and drink lots of liquids and you should be ok to party the following weekend.
