Ever squeeze a mineral to get mineral oil?

Question: Olive oil comes from olives. Corn oil comes from corn. I never squeezed a baby, so I'm not sure where baby oil comes from. But what about mineral oil, an ingredient in my eyedrops? Where does mineral oil come from? No retarded answers, like "from a mineral, duh" please.

It's an (ultimate) product of he mineral element carbon (via petroleum) and it's called mineral to distinguish it from vegetable.

Mineral oil is oil mined from the ground. It is a refined product, like petroleum. It is used a cheap filler for a lot of skin and beauty products, but it's not good for your skin as it is ultimately drying and robs it of other nutrients such as vitamin E.
