could someone explain to me, universal healthcare?
Question:
Answers:
With universal healthcare, also known as socialized healthcare, everyone in the nation will give a part in order to provide for those who cannot afford healthcare. All medical care costs will be regulated. Problem is, the incentive to work towards affording healthcare is eliminated, as is the incentive for healthcare workers to provide exceptional service. I believe, and this is my opinion, that socialized healthcare will only breed more problems, as their will only be prima donnas working in the industry. Why would you want to spend 8 years in medical school and the rest of your life trying to accel, only to be awarded the same as the guy who's just there to work?
Other Answers:
everyone is covered by poor healthcare.
Universal health care is a health care system in which all residents of a geographic or political entity have their health care paid for, regardless of medical condition or financial status.
In the US the closest thing to Universal health care is that we spend more on a useless space agency than on the suffering of those who can't afford medical care.
The universe is getting more attention and money than the poor.
With universal health care we all would receive second rate care regardless or how much money we had. Was in Canada last year and people were begiing to be transfered to our office just across the border in New York to get American health insurance. UHC is fine if you are healthy
