It is not a very dangerous disease, but precautionary measures to be taken such as drinking boiled water, having hygienic food, avoiding stagnation of water near living places, etc. Though there is no any anti-viral drug, some homoeopathic medicines are found to be effective for this disease by a team of doctors of Andra Pradesh of India. And also they found a homoeopathic medicine "Eupatorium Perfoliatum" as a preventive drug for Chicken Guinea Fever"
