I want to stop smoking and I don't know what to use I have tryed the patches cold turkey , any suggestions?

The patch works for some people. It doesn't work for everyone. You might try a nicotine inhaler which will also give you the oral fixation that comes from smoking. You might do what I did to cut down on smoking and only buy roll your own cigarettes. They're cheaper, they have no additives and you will smoke a lot less. I am at the point now where I only smoke because I like to and I enjoy the ritual of rolling my cigs, not because I am addicted. I used to smoke a pack a day of machine made smokes. Now I smoke maybe four hand rolled a day and I never cough or feel poorly.

It takes a replacement of an old habit to get rid of it. When you feel like having a smoke, replace it with something positive. Learn to crochet and pick up the hook and work some granny-squares. It would take you as long to make one granny square as it would take to smoke a cigarette. Or...put a straw in your mouth and suck on it. Anything to replace the habit of picking up that cig. Just make sure it's a positive one. Good luck.

Go to a cancer unit at a hospital and see the cancer pts in there 30's and 40's with no hair, holes in their chest big enough to stick your hand into and tracheostomy tubes. Round on an Oncology unit with an oncology doctor. This aughta cure ya!
Wellbutrin helps alot of people quit smoking. Lots of perscription plans won't cover it for that diagnosis, so if you are feeling "depressed" ask for it for that reason. Or, I think they make a generic now, and you could afford it that way.
You need to decide it. Have a strong mind that you will quit.
I know it's not that easy. It's been 2months not smoking for me.
