What is an aneurysm?

Question:

Answers:
An aneurysm is a dilation of a blood vessel. The danger would be rupture. Aneurysms are in two basic forms, fusiform, which is a wide dilation of the whole vessel, or saccular, or berry form, which bulges out the side of a vessel, forming a "berry". Fusiform aneurysms are more likely to form in the abdominal aorta, and the saccular more likely in the intracranial vessels.
