Cochlear Implant?

Question:

I have just been seen by the doctor and he/my parents wants me to get a CI, I am fine with it. But you have to be evaluated for one. What should I expect during the evaluation process?

It's not so bad. Definitely worth your trouble. I have a student who underwent the process a few months ago, and it has really made a wonderful change in his life! He was already a very good lip reader, but as I'm sure you know, there's still so much he missed out on. Now, after some fine tuning, he hears everything! I'll be glad to put you in touch with him if you're interested.
