What is a migrane, what causes it, and what is the quickest way to get rid of one?!?

Question:
I woke up with the worst migrane this morning and I still feel it 12 hours later. I took 2 IBprofen and 2 Excedrin Migranes. The 2nd usually helps, but like I said, it's still there. I also have wisdom teeth coming in and have read that they can cause the Migranes.

Answers:
Many things can be the cause of a migraine. It has been proven that 25% of the people who get migraines if they take the herb "Feverfew" it will help them. I use to have migraines and I used the Feverfew along with Ibuprofen. The good thing is you can take it on an empty stomach and it won't hurt you. You can buy it a Walmart but be sure you get the 380mg. and take at least two at a time. They say if you get them ofen take one Feverfew daily and it will keep the migranes away. Good luck and God Bless.
a migrane is similar to a headache.i would just go back to bed if i get it.
A cold shower or bath always gets rid of my migranes.
Every time I try to answer a question like yours with a website you can go to to help you with your problem(s), I get a violation for Spam and Advertisement, so I cannot tell you how to get rid of your migraines. I normally advise herbal remedies, but it seems the general public would rather take drugs that don't do anything in the long run to stop these from recurring. The reason you get any headaches is lack of oxygen to the brain through your blood. If your blood is too thick you will occasionally get headaches and/or migraines.
Migraine is correctly labelled Migraine Syndrome.. as it involves many symptoms besides the headache. If you have no other symptoms, it is not migraine. Any undue stress may exacerbate the inflammatory process that is already there, eg: cutting wisdom teeth. But a true migraine is a chronic condition which becomes acute in the active state.
