possibly diabetes.you should go to a doctor

You could have diabetes. Go and get a blood test. You may be getting too much sodium in your diet, but it could be any number of things. Some people are just naturally thirsty all the time. I constantly have a drink by me. It may be something serious though, so you may want to consult a doctor to be sure.

You may have a rare problem called diabetes insipidus. It's not related to the more common sugar diabetes (diabetes mellitus). Here is an excellent link:

It's treatable, so find out if this is your problem.

Good luck to you! Hydration field test: Hold fingers of one hand straight, pinch skin of knuckles with thumb/forefinger of other hand. If the skin stays peaked, you are dehydrated.
Do you work out? Muscle synthesis required huge amounts of water. Is that where it's all going?
Headaches? Another sure sign right there. Is it only when you're exercising or even when you're resting? If you're also urinating a lot, it could be diabetes.

Check this website. See if you have other symptoms.

If so, you really should see a doctor. if it is diabetes and it's left untreated you could end up losing a hand or foot, blind or even comatose. Do you end up urinating a lot or a lot of water. Something could be wrong with your Anti-diuretic hormone(ADH). ADH tells the body to re-absorb water from the urine when the blood is too concentrated. Maybe something's wrong with that hormone and you're not re-absoring enough water.
