how do you?

Question:
well i broke my arm last week and already it smells like real real bad! how do you keep it from smelling so bad?

Answers:
Febreeze is the best thing to spray and it will take the smell away. Don't saturate but spray a few mists directly over the cast possibly around the cotton area that is sticking out of the cast at the top and by your fingers. Good luck---worked for an orthopedic surgeon for 7 years.

Other Answers:
Hmmmm. Ask the doctor. I am sure it happens a lot.
Spray some fabric softener on it.
cut it off
its hard to try and clean under your cast, try using some baby powder and sprinkling it down in there
You can't - it is going to smell bad - and that is it. It's awful when you finally take it off! Wheww!!!!!!

Well i am sorry you broke your arm sounds to me like right guard needs to hit the left one or just may the sercet is out
The drier you keep it the less it'll smell. Don't use water at all, the suggestion of baby powder was a good one, anything that will promote dryness...
I broke my arm when I was 7 years old, and there's
nothing you can do about it, I used a plastic cover at the ends
and taped it so it would not smell, also use baby powder.
Is a plaster applied for treatment, It is very essential to find out that you may not have developed any infection underneath the plaster, it smells very bad, Kindly see your doctor & get the treatment. That is only the proper way to get through your problem.
Try febreze! Good Luck!!!
The smell is probably caused by perspiration. apply a hair dryer to the cast. Set on med. do that a couple of times a day and see if keeping the cast dryer won't help. It's best not to put anything down inside the cast. Good luck!
