What do you do on hot days when you don't have a pool?

Question:
I am dying from the heat and I don't have a pool. What do you do to keep cool?

Answers:
Play in the hose, play in the spinklers, drink lots of cold drinks, stick your head in the freezer (don't close the door w/t you head in it), dress lightly, put your hair up so you neck won't sweat too bad, eat popsicles, suck on ice cubes, and if your REALLY hot pour water over you head and sit in the shade.

Other Answers:
slip and slide.

Go someplace air conditioned, like the Mall. I think about the homeless, frightened, thirsty and hungry in war torn Africa.

A nice cold shower helps, or just go buy a baby pool and fill it up and soak in it.

i bathed myself 1,2, or 3 times besides water is not a problem here.

I sometimes sit in a sprinkler I stay inside in a/c. I also find sundresses cooler than shorts. I use cornstarch instead of talc. Drink lots of water, spray myself with water from a mister. I rest, eat lots of salads and fruit because these have high water content. I don't use my oven. Take lots of showers, cover my head, stay out of the sun. I try to stay indoors because when the weather is hot where I live it is also humid and that can be bad for the lungs.

get into a tub of cool water.

Forget about it. Just enjoy the heat. or stay inside and don't go out. Or go to the lake or the sea. Eat ice-cream.

Find someone else with a pool sit in an air conditioned room ;)

Stay naked most of the time. But here is a trick you can do to keep cool. Soak a sheet in cool water, strip, and drape yourself in it. It will keep you cool and damp.

sometimes i soak my entire bed with icecold water even my pillows to feel cool!! i bet it works like magic! i wear wet clothes and take a shower and dont dry myself! i know there is always the risk of falling sick when i do these but who cares when its that hot!!
