Eye Patches?

Question:
Does anyone know where to find the eye patches that fit under your eyeglasses? Our son has to wear one for 2 hours every day on his good eye and use his bad eye more to help strengthen it. We have tried to find the patches to fit under his glasses, but so far, no luck. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!!

Answers:
my son had to wear a patch too. The doctor's office made one out of a thin peice of craft foam. You kind of cut out an oval piece that completely covers the lense and some of the arm of the glasses so he doesn't peek out the sides. You put one hole in each end of the oval (slide the arm of his glasses through one hole, and push the glasses nose piece through the other hole) We were able to make several different colors of patches and get some neat patternes as well, that make it fun for him to wear.

There are also some websites where you can order kids eye patches. Try http://www.fresnelprism.com/MYI.html. They have some neat designs.

Good Luck!

Other Answers:
just fold up some gauze and tape over his good eye.
Go to your local pharmacy. I have some called Nexcare Opticlude. They can be found in the eye care aisle. If you can't locate them, ask the pharmacist to assist you.
you should try sewing one yourself. it's not that hard a job.
Just get him a regular black one with elastic band. They fit under the glasses. Then take him to Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and tell him he looks like a cool pirate.
You can make one or call 1877-505-1440 or 1208-860-7237
