you kno how before you go into 8th grade you have to get a tetnus shot and others? well...help me!!?

i have to go get them on tuesday...im extremly afraid of needles, and always refuse to get a blood test [[i kno imma baby]] but, do they hurts? wut arm should i get it in?how does it feel? ahhh...im scared =\

Don't be scared, it's no big deal.
It is a small needle, all I felt was a tiny pinch then a "heavyness" in the muscles. It stopped hurting before I even left the doctor's office. The next day, you couldn't even tell where they put the needle.
It helps me to look away. Watching the needle come at me makes me want to scream and run.
If you freak yourself out, you will make it worse. Ask the nurse if you can have a sticker for being so brave. LOL

If you dont freak out, it shouldnt be bad. make sure that the person giving you a shot has lots of experience. Ask them if you want. The thing is. it hurts when the Vaccine goes into the body. and Your arm is going to be super sore for 3 days.
Lots of tylenol and ice.

A Tetnes shot wil make your arm num, and a little soar after( less pain tan scraping nee). But When You Get It-It wil be very fast, and wont really hurt.

i remember my tenis shot....i got it last year..i think i have to get a booster this year...well anyways it does hurt...i kinda bruises anyways...do baby it!!! because it will just hurt more also get it in the arm you write with...the more you use the arm the less time it takes it to quit hurtting....mine only really hurt for 1 day 2 tops...its really no big deal...what you do is just look away and they will be fast...i promise and if thre not you can kick me...lol...well anyways good luck and dont be scared it just makes it worst...im afraid of needles to...and my sister sounds JUST like you...she brusies easily..... it didnt hurt her very long either just dont look at the needle or anything let the doctor do there thing and it will be over soon!!! lol

I'm going into 8th grade this year and I start August 3. I never knew we had to get shots! Maybe its just for your state or something. But my advice is to get the shot in the arm you DONT write with, lol. Blood tests are okay, but I'm sorry you have to go through this! LoL.
