First of all, please don't act on exclusively on advice from youqa.coms, get it checked out by your GP.
If you are suffering from genuine migraines, you must get it diagnosed. This will broaden the number of treatments available to you. Generally practitioners follow these criteria
"Repeated attacks of headache lasting 4-72 hours which have these features:
at least 2 of:
unilateral pain
throbbing pain
aggravation by movement
moderate or severe intensity
at least 1 of:
nausea/vomiting
photophobia and phonophobia"
My wife suffers from migraines having nearly all the features mentioned above.
A common feature of migraines is the "trigger". For some people it's a certain activity, for others over-exposure to a certain type of lighting, etc.
Two treatments that have been highly-effective for my wife:
zolmitriptan
sumatriptan succinate
These are part of the "triptans" family, which are "receptor subtype agonists". They cause constriction of certain blood vessels in the brain. They are prescription-only drugs whose cost is significantly higher than the standard "NHS price". They can be extremely dangerous and are only taken for debilitating attacks.
From your description: "mild pain", it sounds like you are not experiencing migraines, but something else.
Hope that helps

Go see a doctor, these could be symptoms of underlying problem.....You have to be careful with headache's especially with aura's since this could also be a sign of seizure activity.
Good Luck :-)
you need to go to your doctor or clinic to get this checked out. have you been diagnosed w/ migraines?
First of all, try to keep a regular sleep pattern! I find that this is usually the main factor of whether I get a migraine or not! Oversleeping is just as bad, if not worse, than not getting enough sleep!
Try to eat properly! Hunger can trigger a migraine!
Try to vent your feelings or anger as it happens! I don't mean to rant and rave, but to deal with and resolve all issues as they arise! If I try to put off or ignore an important issue, I will get a migraine (usually with the tense neck and shoulders)
Do some research on the causes and treatments for migraines. You may find something that helps! I do not medicate unless absolutely necessary! There are some effective medicines out there, but there are side effects that I don't like. Especially the Triptans! They get rid of my headache, but present with some frightening side effects!
Try to prevent them! Figure out what your triggers are and use that info to protect yourself! Keep a diary of your headaches in order to figure it out.
Try Migraleve, these really alleviate symtoms, but please get the dotor to check you out, there could be an underlying problem, even allergies
as far as the tired part...are you getting rest?....try eating a fish dinner once a week and have some whole grains....your brain needs the glucose. Low carb/ no carb diets can make you sluggish
