Does Caffeine make anyone else tired? Does anyone know why this would be?

Question:

Answers:
It makes me tired when I am really worn out. And when I'm feeling ill, I stay away from it altogether.it, can inhibit your immune system. Tea is better for you.

"Michael Traub, president of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and director of Lokahi Health Center in Kailua Kona, Hawai'i (where Kona coffee is grown), would rather have us reach for a cup of green or black tea instead of coffee when we want a buzz. His notion of moderate coffee consumption is a cup every other day or a few times a week, in individuals whose constitutions tolerate it. He says caffeine is physically addictive and overused. He recommends reducing the addiction slowly (50 percent a day) and then using coffee infrequently, thereby increasing the potency and decreasing exposure to potential problems. Pregnant or lactating women, and both members of couples trying to conceive, shouldn't drink coffee at all.

Coffee, according to Traub, comes with a host of unwanted health problems including sleep disturbances, PMS, decreased immune function, reflux, vitamin and mineral deficiency, and possibly cancer."

Sometimes --yes. Especially when I am tired. It really does not affect me as it does most people. I am a natural downer.
How often do you use it? Caffeine causes adrenaline release in body and you have to come down sooner or later. Im really trying to cut my usage down to a few days a week instead of everyday.
never heard of caffeine making someone sleepy unless they have been up along time and drank alot of it but my guess is some chemial in the brain working with the caffeine puts you to sleep
Could you have been over doing the caffeine till your body has become tolerant of it but i reckon it would be best to find a doctor's advice Cheers
A fluctuation in the perriferal nerve unveiling limited toxins into the sinaptic compound iduces repeat stimuli to cause heaviness.
Caffeine doesn't make you tired at first but it does slow you down. I can't have caffeine because it has a lot of sodium, which absorbs water. And I'm so tall, that when I sit up fast. There's not enough water in blood to get to the rest of my body that fast. Therefore, I get dizzy and blank out. So maybe because of all the sodium (salt) in it.
whoever on here said it stimulates your adrenaline release is wrong.also caffeine has no sodium. I think Melissa is talking about soda.If she does not have enough water in her blood then yes she will feel effects but that is because of possible dehydration or other health issues and needs to ask a doctor about orthostatic hypotension.
Caffeine is a stimulant though and some people have different biochemistry and some stimulants can have an opposite effect then they intended.
