Pain in your lungs?
Question:
Answers:
Dose it stop you in your tracks too? meaning you can really move either cause the pain is so sharp? when i was younger i used to have them all the time, and that's how mind was.. i didn't dare move cause it hurt so bad.. it would last for about a min or so, then i would be fine. had my lungs checked out, and my heart. Doctors found nothing.. now I'm 29, and have not had them for many many years. don't know if maybe it was a growing pain or what... It really wouldn't hurt to get checked out. better to be safe then sorry... gl

or your GP
i hope u feel better soon x
see a doctor pronto, anything to do with pains in the chest area has the potential to be very nasty indeed...
I would talk to a doctor about this as it would be quite serious.
Yeah i have had it. It always goes away so i don't wory about it.
I sounds like you might have torn some muscle connecing your ribcage to your lungs. Its probably not serious, but get it checked out anyway, for your own peace of mind if nothing more :)
get checked but it might be trapped air it happens to me sometimes (emt-b)
you more than likely have a chest infection, or perhaps an allergy. I get a severe pain in my lungs on breathing if I have been near Lillie's, so go to your health professional and get it checked. Hope your OK
I did after my heart surgery, what I was told to do was practice breathing in slowly and deeply and using breathing excerises. After a few weeks I had no more sharp/aching pain. It may work just as good for you.
better see your doctor before it's too late
I would get this checked out asap. It could be nothing but it could also be a life threatening P.E (pulmonary embolism) This is a blood clot in your lung and can be fatal. Just for peace of mind go to the hospital and get a chest x-ray. I dont know if you have any other symptoms but rapid heart rate, difficulty breathing etc could all be signs. Im sure this is just a chest infection or a pulled muscle but get it checked. All the best xx
Ya I get that sometime. Not very often. Any pain in the chest that happens often tell your doc.
always good to check it out at the docs but this sounds more of a muscular problem than the actual lungs. sometimes trapped wind feels like there's something wrong with the lungs and the heart. My hunch is you may have pulled a muscle. I used to get it alot as a kid but they got less and less as I got older.
There are several reasons you can have lung pain.
Exercised Induced pain can either be b/c you are not breathing right during exercise or exercised induced asthma. This can be present when no other asthma is present.
Pneumonia, which unless this problem is a new problem is unlikely but not impossible
Sometimes people who do not exercise the lungs will get these sharp pains. Why? Few people actually use their full ling capacity and results in pain in the lungs. When we exercise or run.it causes all the air sacs in our lungs to expand and snap open. TO EXERCISE YOUR LUNGS--several times throughout the day take deep breaths so all the air sacs are opened up.
If you are coughing up a discolored yellow or green mucous or are coughing up blood,go see your doctor as soon as you can.
