My Dr's Office closed down. How do i ask about my medical records?
Question:
Answers:
Register with a new Dr and they will arrange for your medical records to be transfered to them.
Other Answers:
FIND THE DR. AND ASK 4 THEM-THEY'RE YOURS--OR WHEN YOU GET A NEW DR. S/HE CAN ORDER THEM
they would have had to place an advertisement in the local newspaper about how long the records would be available, and then whom to contact after that date.
try calling the office to see if there is a recording or go by to see if there is a note on the door.
Go to another doctor, that doctor will give your records to that new doctor.
