If one has a little elevated blood pressure, is it ok to do weight training.?

Question:
I have a blood pressure of 130-135/95 mm and I don't take any medicines. Is it Ok for me to lift heavy weights? I have heard somewhere that it might not be right, but I don't know. A friend of mine told me that it should not be a problem but he is not a fitness expert. Does anyone know anything about this.

Answers:
You should also do some cardio workout that will also help lower blood pressure as well as garlic pills. Garlic is helpful in lowering blood pressure. Also reduce salt (sodium) intake.

Several other natural remedies are listed at the web site below.
