Why don't sun cream adverts show people the dangers of the sun here in the UK?

Question:
The people in the ads are always abroad on beach somewhere..it seems a bit irresponsible to me.

Answers:
This is England most of us over here have never even seen the sun for more than 15Min's out of the year. wot is irresponsible is that you never see any adverts for umbrella's and yet for 11 month's of the year we spend most of our time trying not to drown from all the rain.

Other Answers:
It is the responsibility of each citizen to look after their own skin, not advertisers. If someone doesn't care enough to put on sunscreen, so what?

dose it matter where the person is? as long as the advert is showing us what we need to know than im happy.
your just a fussy little mare thats what you are..

B/c no one relates sun with the UK not even the Brits.
