If you have heartburn, but don't have any antacids at work, and no way to get some. What do you do then?

Question:
I'm at work and have heartburn. What should I do?

Answers:
Either chew gum, or drink lots of water.

And don't take to many antacids on a regular basis. Studies have shown that when you take antacids, your stomach does not absorb all the nutrition and vitamins from the food you eat.

Try to eliminate coffee and soda and tomatos. This will help.

Other Answers:
I wish I knew. You might have to suffer.

Try to find a mint; way back before antacids existed, people used to use mints to calm their stomachs.

A teaspoon of Baking Soda in a cup of water should relieve your heartburn. Be sure to stir it well, and drink it fast. It tastes pretty gross, but it works for me every time.
