sounds like you have an infection get it checked out by the doctor and he/she can put you on some antiobiotics and some sauve to apply to the infected area
Ok I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.... Yup.. that's about as gross as belly button puss...
When you're in the shower from now on.. clean EVERY orifice you have out...possibly using a Q-tip.... don't know what else to tell ya..
you probably scratched it when cleaning it,have a long soak in a hot bath with a cup of salt added.keep cleaning with cotton wool and a solution of salt water,it should soon clear up
It is a fungal infection-may cause little pain with swelling. 4get it. Don't worry. clean da area vt gentle soap n H2O n let it dry. U b al rite in a wk. I promise.
ok. best advice is see a doctor. you mayhave scratched it while cleaning it like someone said and the bacteria that you cleaned out caused an infection. Being that your umbilicus (that's medical for belly button) is extremely vascular (has a lot of blood vessels) an infection there can travel throughout yoru body if it works its way inside. So don't take a chance go see a doctor.
Well, that happened when I got mine first pierced. Happens for first 2 months, although mine didn't hurt. Do not pick at it. Just clean it with soap and water while in the shower, and get the pus outta there if you can. It just shows that it's healing. :) It will be better in no time. Just don't forget to clean it!
