Memories of dizziness and other strange visions?

Question:

I remember when I was little, I used to get these episodes where I would feel very incredibly dizzy and everything spun around and became black and white and spotty like TV static. There are two episodes that I remember. One is getting up from sitting on the ground, being overcome by the spinning black/white/spotty and nausea, and having to lie down, shut my eyes, and possibly sleep. By then I think I had a few because I remember telling my sister it was happening again while I was sinking down. The second is lying in bed with the lights on and the ceiling starting to spin and get black/white/spotty. I don't remember if I was nauseated but I might've just had a bleeding nose. I don't remember which one came first.

I don't have these episodes anymore but I've always wondered what they were because they're some of my earliest memories. Does anyone know?

I used to have the same thing, vertigo, mine was caused by the many ear infections i had when i was younger.

Im guessing vertigo because it sound just like it. The thing is you said you were little and I dont know if little kids get vertigo. Vertigo usually happens at an older age. Im just glad you havent gotten it again.
