Answers:
yes, but don't take them again for at least 6 hours. If you are on them for a long period of time, you could damage your kidneys. Make sure you take them with a small bit of food or milk or you could get "urpy" with them.
I wouldnt! 650mg. of acetaminophen is alot! Try taking something like Motrin with it. OR call your doctor, and tell him you need something stronger!
if you are an adult and are not extremely small or underweight you can take 2. You probably should let your Dr. know you need 2 for relief.
Depending on your weight you could double the dosage without detrimental effects, provided you are perfectly healthy. The prescription you got is reflective of your body type and your pre-existing medical condition(s). You should check with your doctor, it's possible you have built up a resistance to the substance.
You should talk to your doctor before increasing your dosage. Darvocet is a narcotic and increasing your dosage is going to increase your tolerance to the drug. Your pain may be worst and the doctor needs to know so he/she can find out why or you may have already built a tolerance to the 1 pill and need to have it increased. Don't do it without your doctors knowledge. Also to much acetaminophen is very dangerous it causes liver failure.
Me and several other people I know have taken up to 2 grams, which is 2000mg of acetaminophen with no detrimental effect. My dad currently takes around that much every day and has been for the last 3 years (he takes Vicodin ES which is 7.5mg hydrocodone/750mg acetaminophen) although he is about to start taking norco which will be better for him (10mg hydrocodone/325 acetaminophen). I've taken both hydrocodone and oxycodone preparations and ended up taking around 2000mg, not because i wanted to but because to get enough of the (real) pain medicine i had to.
However, NEVER go near 4000mg (4 grams) as that pretty much causes automatic liver failure, which should appear around 12-16 hours later in the form of extreme discomfort, jaundice, sweats, etc.
