Scratched cornea . i think painful sting need remedy?

Question: this is driving me crazy It has to be scratched. It started last night at 12 and is stingingly painful. Can still see but eye is swollen, red but not that red. Pain leave and then comes back ( i guess because of more blinking?)I need something that will ease pain OTC and If I need to see a doctor will a reg. MD do?

OHH NOOOOO I did that to my eye too! You should go to the Dr. BC they have to give you meds to help it heal and don't get infection! I also have an artiftical eye and I was blind for Christmas! My brother when I was younger pushed me into the Christmas tree! Yeah It hurts a lot i bet! Go to the ER!!
