Is there any benefit to adding hydrogen peroxide to drinking water?

Question:
I saw a documentary which said that some doctors are advising their post-surgical patients to add hydrogen peroxide to their drinking water to speed up the healing process. They say that the patients who do this actually do recover faster than the ones who don't. Is there any truth to this? If so, can healthy people do the same thing to maintain or improve their health? What should be the ratio of hydrogen peroxide to water?

Answers:
I'm with Pip. Do not drink this as it can be toxic. Co to WebMD.com and type in the word. You will be able to determine if you want to try this.

you can use it as a mouth wash.. but if you swallow it it can over expand and cause you to vomit from too much pressure.. I've not seen any info on it being a treatment and i wouldn't recommend it.
