Is there a way to become a "morning person"?


Question:
I'd really like to be more of a "morning person," but I can't seem to get my butt moving in the morning. Also, I can't ever seem to fall asleep before midnight, even if I take sleeping pills. Is there a way to change my ways?? I am open to all helpful suggestions. Thank you!

I used to be the worst morning person there was...I think. Waking up in the mornings is never fun but you can make it allot easier by:

Drinking something that will get ya going, like; Spicy V8, coffee with plenty of sugar or just allot of water.

Try taking a shower in the mornings. It seems to waken the ones that are hard to awake...me for example.

Wake up 45 minutes earlier that you need to just to give yourself time to adjust to your normal wakening hours. I always wake at 5:20 am when really I need to wake at 6:00 am. I drink my coffee and relax, giving myself time to wake up.

Eat a good breakfast. I like oat cereal, it's quick and easy.

Leave things to do in the morning, such as signing papers (kids folders) or if you are younger, one last question on your homework sheet. This gives the brain a big surprise and helps it wake up.

Try these things! By the time I go to work, regardless if I have had my 8 hours or 2, I look like awesome and feel that way. You would never be able to notice that I am crabby in the mornings and little by little it seems to get better!
